Zdania twierdzące, pytania i przeczenia w stronie biernej

W pytaniach w mowie zależnej musimy pamiętać o zmianie nietylko czasu, ale przede wszystkim o zmianie szyku pytającego na twierdzący. Pytania ogólne wprowadzamy za pomocą if i czasownika ask zamiast say. Na końcu zdania nie ma pytajnika.

Przeczenia tworzymy tak jak nakazuje dany czas.

Present Simple

Kate said: ‘I go to school every day’. – Kate said that she went to school every day. (Kate powiedziała, że ona chodzi do szkoły kazego dnia.

• Kate asked if she went to school every day. (Kate zapytała czy  chodzi do szkoły kazego dnia).
• Kate ask where she went every day. (Kate zapytała gdzie  chodzi kazego dnia).
• Kate said that she didn't go to school every day. (Kate powiedziała, że  nie chodzi do szkoły kazego dnia).

Present Continuous

Kate said: ‘I am writing a test now’. –  Kate said that she was writing a test then. (Kate powiedziała, że pisze teraz test).

• Kate asked if she was writing a test then. (Kate zapytała czy  pisze teraz test).
• Kate asked what she was writing then. (Kate zapytała co pisze teraz).
• Kate said that she wasn't writing a test then. (Kate powiedziała, że nie  pisze teraz testu).

Future Simple

Kate said: ‘I will cook that dinner’. - Kate said that she would cook that dinner. (Kate powiedziała, że ugotuje ten obiad).

• Kate asked if she would cook that dinner. (Kate zapytała, czy  ugotuje ten obiad).
• Kate asked what she would cook. (Kate zapytała co ugotuje).
• Kate said that she would not cook that dinner. (Kate powiedziała, że nie ugotuje tego obiadu).

Future Continuous

Kate said: ‘John will be repairing that car all day tomorrow’. –  Kate said that John would be repairing that car all  next day. (Kate powiedziała, że John będzie naprawiał jej auto cały jutrzejszy dzień).

• Kate asked if John would be repairing that car all next day. (Kate zapytała czyJohn będzie  naprawiał jej auto cały jutrzejszy dzień).
• Kate asked when John would be repairing that car. (Kate zapytała kiedy John będzie  naprawiał jej auto).
• Kate said that John wouldn't be repairing that car all the next day. (Kate powiedziała, że John nie będzie  naprawiał jej auto cały jutrzejszy dzień).

Past Simple

Kate said: ‘They had a big dog many years ago’. – Kate said that they had had a big dog many years before. (Kate powiedziała, że oni mieli dużego psa wiele lat temu).

• Kate asked if they had had  a big dog many years before. (Kate zapytała czy  oni mieli dużego psa wiele lat temu).
• Kate asked what they had had  many years before. (Kate zapytała co  oni mieli wiele lat temu).
• Kate said that they hadn't had a big dog many years before .(Kate powiedziała, że oni nie mieli dużego psa wiele lat temu).

Past Continuous

Kate said: ‘We were dancing all last night’. - Kate said that they had been dancing all previous night. (Kate powiedziała, że oni tańczyli całą ubiegłą noc).

• Kate asked if they were dancing all previous night. (Kate zapytała czy  oni tańczyli całą ubiegłą noc).
• Kate asked what they had been doing all previous night. (Kate zapytała co oni robili całą ubiegłą noc).
• Kate said that they hadn't been dancing all previous night. (Kate powiedział, że oni nie  tańczyli całą ubiegłą noc).

Present Perfect

Kate said: ‘Bob has lived here since 2002’. – Kate said that Bob had lived there since 2002. (Kate powiedziała, że Bob mieszka tu od 2002).

• Kate asked if Bob had lived there since 2002. (Kate zapytała czy Bob mieszka tu od 2002).
• Kate asked who had lived there since 2002. (Kate zapytała kto mieszka tu od 2002).
• Kate said that Bob hadn't lived there since 2002. (Kate powiedziała, że Bob nie mieszka tu od 2002).

Present Perfect Continuous

Kate said: ‘He has been learning English for six years’.  – Kate said that he had been learning English for six years. (Kate powiedziała, że on uczy się angielskiego od sześciu lat).

• Kate asked if he had been learning English for six years.(Kate zapytała czy on uczy się angielskiego od sześciu lat).
• Kate asked who had been learning English for six years. (Kate zapytała kto uczy się angielskiego od sześciu lat).
• Kate said that he hadn't  been learning English for six  years. (Kate powiedziała, że on nie uczy się angielskiego od sześciu lat).
